HÜNI+CO is expanding its coating portfolio to include PROCO-ETFE DA – a new, white, FDA-compliant ETFE coating for components used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food and semiconductor industries.
The coating system offers impressive features, including layer thicknesses of up to 800 µm, a particularly smooth surface and high chemical resistance. This makes PROCO-ETFE DA particularly suitable for applications where process reliability, media resistance and hygiene requirements are paramount.
PROCO-ETFE DA is based on ETFE (ethylene tetrafluoroethylene) – a high-performance fluoropolymer characterised by its thermal stability and outstanding resistance to almost all chemicals, acids, alkalis and organic solvents.
HÜNI+CO is now offering the new system as a contract coating service for industrial components. The initial sampling has already been successfully completed.
