From January 2025, a high-performance photovoltaic system will be put into operation on the HÜNI + CO company premises. With a capacity of 347 kWp and 835 modules covering an area of around 1,630 m², around 375,000 kWh of electricity can be generated each year. This corresponds to around a third of our company's annual electricity requirements, which will be covered directly on site in future.
As a family business that has combined tradition with innovation for generations, this investment is an important step towards making our energy consumption more sustainable. At the same time, we are strengthening our independence from external energy sources and focussing on an environmentally friendly energy supply that will also prove its worth in the long term.
The new PV system is part of our ongoing endeavours to act responsibly and with the future in mind - for our company and for the environment.
