CHEMLINE 784®

When it comes to transportation of highly-corrosive class 8 cargoes in ISO tank containers, ChemLINE 784® is the coating of choice.

ChemLINE 784® is a high functionality, two component thermoset polymer coating. It is formulated with a unique polymer designed and engineered with high functionality. This bridged aromatic backbone structure, when polymerized, forms up to 784 cross-links, predominately through an ether (carbon-oxygen-carbon) linkage. This eliminates high concentrations of hydroxyl groups (found in epoxies) and precludes formation of ester groups (found in vinylesters) which are subject to hydrolysis and acid attack.

ChemLINE 784® provides a smooth, semi-gloss finish that can easily be cleaned and decontaminated.

With its unique cross-linked density, the coating provides unprecedented chemical resistance, even at elevated temperatures. More than 4.000 chemicals and products have already been successfully tested.

For over 10 years HÜNI + CO is successfully  coating ISO tank containers with ChemLINE 784® and is the exclusive applicator for ChemLINE 784® in Europe.

ChemLINE 784® offers an exceptional corrosion protection and chemical resitance against acids, alkaline and solvents (including the organics) while being a 97% solids and therefor very low in VOC.
