NON-STICK AND SLIDING COATINGS

Non-stick coatings by HÜNI + CO based on fluoroplastics like PTFE, FEP and PFA conduce the prevention of unwanted adhesions. Many different applications like the reduction of release agents, optimization of cleaning efforts and costs or enhanced wear resistance are possible. Our non-stick coatings will help you to achieve your ideal surface.

Our sliding coatings are ideally suited to reduce friction between two surfaces and are preferably used where conventional lubrications reach their limit. Based on PTFE, PTFE with graphite and MoS2 we are pleased to offer you the best solution for your specification.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

DESCRIPTION

PTFE – or polytetrafluoroethylene – is a thermoplastic fluoropolymer. PTFE products have the highest operating temperature of any fluoropolymer and have extremely low coefficient of friction, fair abrasion resistance and good chemical resistance. Usually, these coatings are being used where a dry lubricant or low friction, or corrosion resistant coating is necessary.

FEP – or fluorinated ethylene propylene – non-stick coatings melt and flow during baking to provide a smooth non-porous surface with excellent abrasion resistance. Because the coating is non-porous its chemical resistance is superb. FEP coatings are extremely non-wetting and convince with a very low coefficient of friction.

As coating materials we use well-known brands like Teflon®, Greblon®, Ilaflon® or Xylan®.

DESCRIPTION

Based on Perfluoralkoxy (PFA) Proco–PFA 7000 is a coating system with excellent non-stick properties and excellent corrosion protection properties at the same time.
Proco–PFA 7000 convinces with its very high temperature resistance up to 260°C.

DESCRIPTION

Molybdenum disulfide – with its chemical formula MoS2 – designates the sulfide of the chemical element molybdenum.

Molybdenum along with sulfur forms a very smooth and gliding-eager surface. Very often it is used to achieve a permanent sliding improvement or to optimize running properties.
Within the coating technology molybdenum disulfide is being used for a variety of different sliding coatings.
